Whatever it is, come up with a topic that you’re going to write about. You just want to make sure that your caption has a purpose and a focus.

2. Write a headline 

I know that Instagram captions don’t technically have a headline, but if you’re scrolling through, you will notice that any caption over like two or three lines long is going to have a little ‘see more’ button. You must focus on writing first the part that is going to show up before ‘see more’. You can spend all the time writing a beautiful long story in your caption, but if the first three lines aren’t interesting enough to get people to click ‘see more’ no one’s ever going to read it.t think that its clickbait

3. Writing the body of your caption

The third step is writing the body of your caption and making sure to add lots of line breaks. Don’t write like 12,000 words or anything like that, but I think 250 to 500 words is suitable as it’s going to look pretty long. But, if people are really engaged with what you’re talking about, they will keep reading it. It’s really important that when you have that many words, you’re breaking it up with spaces.

4. Read through your caption 

Read through your caption and make sure that throughout the entire thing you’re writing the same way that you would talk to a friend. Your followers on Instagram feel like they know you personally and you are friends with them. So, make sure that you’re not writing as if you’re writing an essay or a school paper. Write it as you would actually speak to a friend about it.

5. Use specific writing tools

In this article, I want to discuss the academic system and the way it functions in India. I feel that we end up giving undue importance to marks, percentages, and grades than they really deserve. That’s primarily because, as life goes through different stages, those percentages or grades that you got barely matter. I would go to the extent of saying that if they do not matter at all. Once you start working, it is largely your work performance that takes you ahead in life. That’s assuming that you’re doing a job, and if you’re not doing a job then it doesn’t matter at all even if you’ve been a failure at your academics. You can still be super successful. Having said that, the next question that arises is, what are these grades or percentages typically used for? If you look at the class 12 board exams, those marks or percentages typically determine the college in which you get your admission.

There was this instance where SRCC Shri Ram College of Commerce in Delhi, had a hundred percent cut off. So if you were a student who got anything less than one hundred percent marks in your class 12, even if you got 99, you are not eligible for admission. So, it made things easy for the selection of candidates. Now, that being the case, can you tell me, is there a huge difference between a student who has got a hundred percent versus a student who has got 99 percent? I mean if I have got 99 and you have got 100, is it necessary that you’re intellectually superior or academically superior to me? I don’t think so.

Now, the question that arises is how we ensure that this whole admission process takes place in a suitable manner? I feel that instead of giving so much importance to mark percentages, we must focus on CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) of students. CGPA is a grading system used to measure the overall academic performance of a student. Institutions overseas, as well as many companies, prefer CGPA for placements because cgpa provides the overall academic score of students, whereas percentages are based on marks alone. Many countries around the world have taken up this grading system in their education system. But, in India, most of the educational institutions stick with percentages to grade their students. Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana (PMGAY) previously known as Indra Awas Yojana (IAY), is a social welfare flagship program, created by the Indian Government, to provide the housing for rural poor in India. 

Overview of Scheme

• This scheme or Yojana was launched by Rajiv Gandhi as Indra Awas Yojana, the then Prime Minister in 1985.
• It was one of the major flagship programs of the Ministry of Rural Development to construct houses for the BPL population in the villages.
• Under PMGAY Scheme, financial assistance worth Rs. 1, 20,000 in plain areas and Rs. 1, 30,000 in mountain or difficult areas is provided for the construction of houses. 
• These houses are equipped with facilities such as toilets, electricity connection, and drinking water (as per convergence with other schemes like Swachha Bharat Abhiyan toilets, Sobhagya Yojana electricity connection, Ujjwala Yojana LPG gas connection, etc.
• Houses in this scheme are allotted in the name of the women or jointly between husband and wife.
• The construction of the houses is the sole responsibility of beneficiary and contractors’ engagement is strictly prohibited.
• Sanitary latrine and smokeless chullas are also required to be constructed along with each house for which additional financial assistance is provided from ‘Total Sanitation Campaign’ and ‘Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Vidyutikaran Yojana’ respectively.
• This scheme is operating since 1985 which provides subsidies and cash assistance to people in village to build their houses, themselves.

Purpose of PMGAY

There is always some purpose for every single step taken by anyone so there must be some purpose behind launching this scheme as well, let’s figure out about that:

• The broad purpose of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to some of the weakest sections of the society for them to upgrade or construct a house of respectable quality for their personal living. 
• The vision of the government is to replace all temporary or Kachcha houses from Indian villages.

Provisions

• Under this scheme, the eligible candidates are provided by a cash assistance of 1.2 Lakh for constructing their houses in rural areas and an amount of 12 k for construction of toilets.

Implementations

• The funds are allocated to the states based on 75% weightage of rural housing shortage and 25% weightage of poverty ratio.

• The housing shortage is as per the official published figures of the Registrar General of India.

• Software called ‘AWAAS Soft’ was launched in July 2010 to assist in improved administration of the scheme.

Impact of the Scheme

 

• Since 1985, 25.2 million houses have been constructed under this scheme.

• Additional 12 million houses were planned to be constructed or renovated under the Bharat Nirman phase 2.

Hopefully, the audacious goal of the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana will be fulfilled and all kachha houses will soon be replaced for the benefit of the needy.
